The City of Ekurhuleni has formally reinstated the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Media and Public Relations Unit as a dedicated, formally constituted function within the department and has returned Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa to her substantive position as Head of the unit.
